West Valley City Selects CFC Fences & Decks
December 3, 2009
West Valley City Selects CFC Fences & Decks for Installation of Trex Fence for 2700 W Project
As a part of a multi-year project to run TRAX light rail down Constitution Blvd (2700 W) in West Valley City, the city planners have selected CFC Fences & Decks to install in excess of 4200 of Trex fencing. The fencing will be installed on both sides of the road running from 3100 S to 3500 S.
Because residential properties back into Constitution Blvd, the intent of the City is to provide a softer more aesthetically pleasing privacy barrier than would be afforded from concrete. The Woodland Brown color and Trex Seclusions design were selected.
Trex fencing is a composite material made from recycled wood and plastic by products. Because it is a composite, it requires little maintenance and is more natural looking and stronger to other low maintenance products such as vinyl.
CFC Fences & Decks is Utah's distributor for Trex fencing and national manufacturer of gates for the product. The West Valley City project leads an initiative by CFC to provide this composite fencing as a viable alternative to wood, vinyl, simulated concrete, and other fence materials.
