Post Hole Drilling

"We are enjoying our fence. It is beautiful.” - Brad C.

Post Hole Drilling

We drill, you relax!

The toughest work when building your own fence is digging post holes. Our post hole drilling service saves you from this difficult labor and we can dig your holes in a fraction of the time it would take by hand or with a 2-man auger. Our specialized Dandy Digger tractor runs a powerful auger and its agility allows us to pivot into many tight spots.

Preparing your fence line

  • Ensure there is at least an 8' opening to access your fence line
  • Clear the line of obstructions such as overgrowth of bushes and trees
  • Mark the location of your post holes
  • Remove the loose dirt/rocks from the holes after they have been drilled
  • Set your posts and build your fence with ease!

Please recognize that retaining walls, existing fences, underground utilities, etc. may not allow us to drill certain areas. Although incidental damage to landscaping is possible, particularly if the ground is wet, the wide track wheels (which are equal to the weight & pressure of a loaded wheelbarrow) minimize the possibility of damage.

We make every effort to avoid disrupting utility services, and the safety of our operator and equipment are a top priority. CFC will request that a Blue Stakes service marks the utilities for your property prior to drilling. By law, Blue Stakes marks must be in place for 2 business days prior to drilling.
