Mini Winds Fence with Spindle Top

The Mini Winds with Spindle Top style is a semi-privacy fence with a more decorative section at the top to create some openness. Vertical spindles fill in the "window" at the top of the fence and vertical pieces can be added for variation. The size of the window usually looks best at 18" to 36" in height. The posts are beveled (and can be routed as well) and revealed on both sides. Framing is attached at the top and bottom of the window and at the bottom of the fence with fascia on the opposite side of the framing. Slight variations may be regulated by HOAs or cities to ensure visibility where required.

• All cedar lumber
• (1) Post: 4x4 (with beveled top;) post is revealed on both sides
• (3) Top, Mid, & Bottom Rails: 2”x4”x8’
• (2) Top & Bottom Fascia Rails: 1”x4”x8’
• (1) Top Cap Rail: 2”x4”x8’
• (1) Rail for Spindle Top: 2”x6”x8’
• (1) Rail for Spindle Top: 1”x6”x8’
• (18) Slats: 1”x6”x6’ (butted)
• Note: materials calculators are not available for Mini Winds with spindle top designs.
• (11) Spindles: 1”x1”x16”
