Estates Cedar Fence - Upscale Privacy

The Estates style is a full privacy fence with a neighbor-friendly design, an ornate post top and mid-rail, and overlapping slats. The 6x6 posts make this fence particularly sturdy in heavy winds.

Materials needed per 8' section of fence

All cedar lumber
(1) Post: 6”x6”x8’ or 9’ (with routed and beveled gothic top revealed above fence); post is revealed on both side
(2) Top & Bottom Rails: 2”x4”x8’
(2) Top & Bottom Fascia Rails: 1”x4”x8’ (on opposite sides of 2”x4”)
(1) Mid Rail: 2”x6”x8’ or 2”x8”x8’
(1) Fascia Mid Rail: 1”x6”x8’ or 2”x8”x8’
(1) Top Cap Rail: 2”x6”x8’
(21) Slats: 1”x6”x6’ (overlapping)
