Fence Comparisons

“We are extremely pleased with our fence installed by the Cedar Fence Company and highly endorse their product. We especially love the natural wood fence as opposed to the ‘refrigerator white’ look of vinyl fencing. The high quality of cedar used by CFC means the fence requires minimal maintenance…only part of one day a year to spray on stain. The service is great, the quality superb, and the wood is beautiful! It makes the perfect natural addition to our house.” - N. O., L.W., Provo

Canyon Winds Fence with Spindle Top

Canyon Winds Fence with Spindle Top

The Canyon Winds w/ Spindle Top style is a semi-privacy fence with a decorative section at the top to create some openness. Vertical spindles fill in the "window" at the top of the fence and vertical pieces can be added for variation. The size of the window usually looks best at 18" to 36" in height. The 6x6 posts make this fence particularly sturdy in heavy winds. Posts tops are beveled (and can be routed as well) and revealed on both sides. Slats overlap each other for added dimension. Framing is attached at the top and bottom of the window and at the bottom of the fence with fascia on the opposite side of the framing. Slight variations may be regulated by HOAs or cities to ensure visibility where required.
